We have demonstrated this, for example, in the production process for today’s large-scale automotive batteries: the coating is applied intermittently during the production of lithium-ion batteries. It must be ensured that the carrier material is not penetrated and that a tolerance of +\/-3\u00b5m is maintained over the entire length of the battery pad.
