Contact or non-contact thickness gauges are selected by us depending on the framework and material. Whether isotope or X-ray emitters – we have the right concept for every application and every material. In combination with our thickness control for rolling mills, we are able to offer interesting complete modernizations.<\/p>\n\n

Our highlight for increasing measurement accuracy: Spline interpolation<\/strong>Calibration electronics for non-contact thickness gauges require an accurate calculation of an ex-function. In order to increase accuracy, mathematically sophisticated modified spline interpolations were used in the calculation algorithms.<\/p>\n\n

SPC (Statistical Process Control) is the ideal complement to thickness measurement. The system expands your pure thickness measurement into a transparent interface for your quality documentation. The thickness and length of every coil that is rolled\/cut\/split or processed in any other way on your system is measured. The profile is also measured at the start of the belt by moving the measuring bracket crosswise. Further process data such as rolling forces etc. can be integrated in conjunction with our thickness control. The data is stored in a database and is therefore available to your QS.<\/p>\n\n
